Besides being the actual print portfolio for the zwupp! collective the thesis was gearing towards the philosophy of handcrafted graphic design. From the concept to the actual product every step relates to this philosophy and was therefor made in a handcrafted manner. From sewing the bags, bookbinding the portfolios, punching out the ferric clips, silk printing the covers or writing forty descriptions with a 20-year old typewriter. Everything was made with the greatest care using the theoretical background gained whilst writing the thesis.
